If you speak to anyone who has either had a renovation, extension, deck, pergola or even a bathroom renovation project or any other home renovation project not listed, they will most likely tell you that Karandonis Building holds the key to guaranteed success. We will make or break the renovation process and although the end result may look the same, what lies underneath may tell a much different story!
This is an industry that can harbor many scam artists that go after your money with no care for your welfare! You need to do as much research as possible to ensure a successful renovation. We are gladly here to help you, this is why we discuss the quotes with you in person, to ensure we are all on the same page, and that you are able to understand what is involved in the job you require, and for any questions to be answered in person & not through the new technology of mobile phones and/or e-mail.

Please do your homework! Learn everything you can about the project you are about to undertake as well as the process. Research on-line testimonials of personal renovation stories where costly mistakes were made so that you can learn from those and be better prepared.
Finally, make sure your contractor explains the process of the job for you. Ask questions and get your contractor to show you exactly what has been done at the end of each day if required.
With us here at Karandonis Building we will explain everything to you, we will also explain what was done on each day, keep you up to date with how the process of the job is flowing through, and also who could possibly be there on the day i.e. another trade. It's very important for you to know who is there on the day.

.A Few Important Notes

* There are lots of contractors out there who will undercut prices and offer you promises that are not realistic, or they will tell you that you require something that is needed but actually has nothing to do with the job and/or not needed, as well as they don't explain to you WHY it's required for the job. You are the owner wanting the job done, you are entitled to know WHY it's needed.

* Check that your contractor is using accredited trades from plumbers, electricians, and tilers etc.. At Karandonis Building we only use qualified trades, to ensure the job is done correctly for you the customer! We use our own qualified sub-contractors that work closely to us. They also provide the most professional service, that is why they work with Karandonis Building. We work with timelines, this is quite important to us, as the contractor and for you as the client, to ensure the job is running smoothly, and professionally.

* Be wary of anyone willing to start immediately or who asks for cash up front? Do not proceed with any payments unless you have an agreement with your contractor and make sure they detail all work for the job, an ensure they are giving you ALL labour and materials. You do not want a poor renovation.
